OVERVIEW
Sinis Peninsula is a coastal region in western Sardinia, with lagoons, farmland and low settlements extending between open sea and sheltered wetlands, while archaeological sites and fishing traditions remain important. The transition between harbour towns and opposite coasts remains visible away from the principal visitor routes. Opposite coasts occupies a different part of the area from inland roads, creating a clear physical contrast.
Driving, birdwatching and beach time provide the main experiences. The landscape feels open and lightly developed compared with major resort coasts. Time spent around harbour towns also brings inland roads into view, adding another layer to the visit. Harbour towns is experienced differently from opposite coasts, so both areas contribute separate perspectives.
