OVERVIEW
Ulu Temburong is a large rainforest region in eastern Brunei, with steep valleys, rivers and dense tropical forest supporting exceptional biodiversity. Permanent settlement is limited within the protected area. The relationship between towering rainforest, river journeys and canopy trails across a remote protected region reached through forest and water and rainforest gives the wider destination a distinctive structure beyond its principal visitor area.
Boat travel and guided walks provide the main access, while canopy views reveal the forest’s scale, while heat, humidity and rain remain constant. Spending time with both towering rainforest and river journeys and canopy trails across a remote protected region reached through forest and water reveals more of the destination than focusing only on its best known sights.
