Riviera dei Fiori is a coastal region in north western Italy, with resort towns, fishing harbours and cultivated slopes compressed between the sea and the Alps. Flower growing, olive terraces and old villages remain visible above the modern coastal road. Railways and coastal roads connect settlements along the narrow shore. Beaches occupies a different part of the area from shoreline, creating a clear physical contrast beyond the central visitor zone.

Beach time and harbour walks combine easily with inland drives to hill settlements.
